STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS27056
This legislation is to fund the Idaho State Racing Commission (ISRC) and comes from research of members
of the racing industry. ISRC will be funded with money received from Advanced Deposit Wagering (ADW).
30% of funds from the simulcast sites in the state are not to exceed $30,000 per site, and the balance will go
to the Idaho State Racing Commission. 60% will help fund the Racing Commission. 40% will be placed in
the Hair Testing Fund. This legislation will sunset in December, 2022.
FISCAL NOTE
There is no impact to the General Fund. The Idaho State Racing Commission will be funded with funds
from ADW.

Minus 2 Simulcast Sites @ $30,000 each = -$60,000; 60% to fund State Racing Commission = -$112,639.20;
and 40% to fund hair testing = -$75,092.80
