It mandates the director of the Department of Natural Resources to create and maintain a searchable, user-friendly database on the department's internet site. This database must allow users to search for water sample data by specific contaminant type, location, and public water supply system, as well as filter results by the date of sampling.

Additionally, the bill requires that the database include the levels of each tested possible contaminant, including nitrates, from all water sampling conducted by public water supply systems. The department is required to ensure that the internet site complies with these provisions within six months of the bill's effective date.
