House Resolution No. recognizes and congratulates the Kirkwood Community College women's basketball team for their exceptional performance during the 2025 season. The team entered the NJCAA Division II national tournament as the top seed and maintained that position throughout the season. They achieved their fifth consecutive Region 11 tournament title, regular season championship, and district title, while also setting a record with a 54-game win streak over two seasons and a 74-game home winning streak. Despite finishing fourth in the national tournament with a 33-2 record, their accomplishments were significant.

The resolution highlights the individual achievements of sophomore Jenna Twedt, who was named to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament All-Tournament Team for the second consecutive year, and acknowledges head coach Kim Muhl's impressive 35-season tenure, during which he has become the winningest coach in NJCAA women's basketball history. The House of Representatives expresses its pride in the team's achievements and plans to transmit a copy of the resolution to Coach Muhl and Kirkwood Community College President Kristie Fisher upon adoption.
