However, the bill maintains the current limitations on sales from temporary structures, which remain restricted to June 13 through July 8.

Additionally, the bill expands the permissible use of consumer fireworks to include the date of the general election on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November during even-numbered years, allowing usage between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. It also specifies that fireworks can be used on July 4 and the weekends surrounding it until 11:00 p.m., while maintaining other time restrictions for usage on New Year's Eve and the surrounding weekends. Violations of these regulations are classified as simple misdemeanors, with no imprisonment mandated.
