This bill amends Section 331.441 of the Iowa Code to expand the definition of "general county purpose" to include the acquisition of vehicles or vehicle equipment specifically for various county departments. The new subparagraph added to subsection 2, paragraph c, identifies the county sheriff, county attorney, county jail facility, county maintenance department, county conservation department, and county public health department as eligible entities for such acquisitions.
