1 Section 1. Section 8A.202, subsection 1, paragraph k, Code
2 2024, is amended to read as follows:
3 k. Establish and administer standards for state agency
4 libraries and public libraries.
5 EXPLANATION
6 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with
7 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly.
8 This bill strikes the department of administrative services’
9 obligation to establish and administer standards for state
10 agency libraries.
