1 An Act relating to Medicaid reimbursement for services to

1 Section 1. MEDICAID REIMBURSEMENT —— NURSING FACILITY
2 LEVEL OF CARE —— INDIVIDUALS ON SEX OFFENDER REGISTRY. No
3 later than January 1, 2024, the department of health and human
4 services shall implement a reimbursement methodology under the
5 Medicaid program for services provided to individuals who meet
6 nursing facility level of care requirements and are required to
7 register as sex offenders pursuant to chapter 692A.
8 EXPLANATION
9 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with
10 the explanation’s substance by the members of the general assembly.
11 This bill requires the department of health and human
12 services to implement a Medicaid reimbursement methodology for
13 services provided to individuals who meet nursing facility
14 level of care requirements and are required to register as sex
15 offenders.
