AN ACT
RELATING TO DISBURSEMENTS FROM THE COMPUTER SCIENCE
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT INCENTIVE FUND AND INCLUDING
APPLICABILITY PROVISIONS.
4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
1 Section 1. Section 284.6A, Code 2023, is amended by adding
2 the following new subsection:
3 NEW SUBSECTION. 2A. A recipient of a grant under subsection
4 2 may receive moneys from the fund for expenses the recipient
5 incurs during the fiscal year in which the department awards
6 the grant through September 30 of the following year.
7 Sec. 2. APPLICABILITY. This Act applies to grants the
8 department of education awards from the computer science

9 professional development incentive fund on or after the
10 effective date of this Act.
