was referred S.C.R. No. 97, S.D. 1, H.D. 1, entitled:
“SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HAWAII STATE
ENERGY OFFICE TO CONVENE A RENEWABLE LIQUID FUELS WORKING
GROUP TO STUDY LOCAL PRODUCTION, DEVELOPMENT, AND INCENTIVES
FOR RENEWABLE LIQUID FUELS,”
begs leave to report as follows:
The purpose of this measure is to request the Hawaii State
Energy Office to convene a Renewable Liquid Fuels Working Group to
study local production, development, and incentives for renewable
liquid fuels.
Your Committee received testimony in support from the Hawaii
State Energy Office; Airlines Committee of Hawaii; Hawaii Farm
Bureau; Airlines for America; Island Energy Services; Hawaiian
Airlines; Pono Pacific; Par Hawaii; and Hawaii Gas.
As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your
Committee on Consumer Protection & Commerce that is attached to
this report, your Committee concurs with the intent and purpose of
S.C.R. No. 97, S.D. 1, H.D. 1, and recommends its adoption.
