Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred H.R. No. 102
entitled:
“HOUSE RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE COUNTIES TO AMEND OR ADOPT
AN ORDINANCE TO ALLOW RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS, EDUCATIONAL
INSTITUTIONS, OR MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS TO DEVELOP RESIDENTIAL
UNITS ON PARCELS THAT MEET CERTAIN CONDITIONS,”
begs leave to report as follows:
The purpose of this measure is to request the counties to
amend or adopt an ordinance to allow religious institutions,
educational institutions, or medical institutions to develop
residential units on parcels that meet certain conditions.
As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your
Committee on Finance that is attached to this report, your
Committee concurs with the intent and purpose of EI.R. No. 102 and
recpmmends its adoption.
