Your Committee on Health & Homelessness, to which was
referred S.C.R. No. 64 entitled:
“SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION URGING THE STATE AND COUNTIES
TO PRIORITIZE AND DIRECT ALL AVAILABLE RESOURCES TO
SUPPORTING COORDINATED INTERAGENCY COLLABORATION AND PUBLIC-
PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS AIMED AT ADDRESSING THE ONGOING FENTANYL
EPIDEMIC,”
begs leave to report as follows:
The purpose of this measure is to urge the State and counties
to prioritize and direct all available resources to supporting
coordinated interagency collaboration and public-private
partnerships aimed at addressing the ongoing fentanyl epidemic.
Your Committee received testimony in support of this measure
from the Department of Health and Hawaii Island Fentanyl Task
Force.
As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your
Committee on Health & Homelessness that is attached to this
report, your Committee concurs with the intent and purpose of
S.C.R. No. 64 and recommends its adoption.
