The purpose of this measure is to request the Department of
Health to convene an Early Lung Cancer Screening Working Group to
continue the efforts of the Early Lung Cancer Screening Task Force
established pursuant to Act 162, Session Laws of Hawaii 2022.
As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your
Committee on Finance that is attached to this report, your
Committee concurs with the intent and purpose of H.R. No. 211 and
recommends its adoption.
