Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred H.C.R. No.
141, entitled:
“HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION URGING THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII
TO CONVENE A WORKING GROUP TO CREATE A PLAN FOR THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF A MARITIME COLLEGE AND TO ESTABLISH A
MARITIME COLLEGE,”
begs leave to report as follows:
The purpose of this measure is to urge the University of
Hawaii to convene a working group to create a plan for the
establishment of a Maritime College and to establish a Maritime
College.
As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your
Committee on Finance that is attached to this report, your
Committee concurs with the intent and purpose of H.C.R. No. 141,
and recommends its adoption.
