     Your Committee on Consumer Protection & Commerce,          to which
was referred H.R. No. 106 entitled:
       “HOUSE RESOLUTION URGING THE REAL ESTATE COMMISSION TO
       DEVELOP POLICIES AND PROGRAMS TO INFORM AND EDUCATE
       CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATION OWNERS AND BOARD MEMBERS OF CERTAIN
       MATTERS TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENT ADMINISTRATION OF
       CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATIONS,”
begs leave to report as follows:
     The purpose of this measure is to urge the Real Estate
Commission to develop policies and programs to inform and educate
condominium association owners and board members of certain
matters to promote the efficient administration of condominium
associations.
     The Real Estate Commission, Hawaii Council of Associations of
Apartment Owners, Hui ‘Oia’i’o, and several individuals testified in
support.
     As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your
Committee on Consumer Protection & Commerce that is attached to
this report, your Committee concurs with the intent and purpose of
H.R. No. 106 and recommends its adoption.
