This bill amends sections 145.051 and 145.09 of the Florida Statutes to increase the base salaries for clerks of the circuit court, county comptrollers, and supervisors of elections based on the population of their respective counties. The new salary amounts for each population group are set to be $26,250 for counties with populations up to 49,999 (increased from $21,250), $29,400 for populations between 50,000 and 99,999 (up from $24,400), $32,550 for populations between 100,000 and 199,999 (previously $27,550), $35,175 for populations between 200,000 and 399,999 (increased from $30,175), $38,325 for populations between 400,000 and 999,999 (up from $33,325), and $41,475 for counties with populations of 1,000,000 or more (previously $36,475).

The bill also specifies that additional compensation will be provided for population increments exceeding the minimum for each group, calculated by multiplying the excess population by the group rate. The effective date for these changes is set for July 1, 2026.
