This bill establishes a new designation for a specific waterbody in Florida, known as the Andrew Red Harris Shoal. It creates a new section, 258.603, in the Florida Statutes, which identifies Shoal S13, a mangrove island located adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway within Jupiter Sound, as the Andrew Red Harris Shoal.

Additionally, the bill mandates that the Department of Environmental Protection is responsible for erecting suitable markers to officially designate the Andrew Red Harris Shoal as outlined in the new section. The effective date for this act is set for July 1, 2026.
