This bill establishes an exception to the general laws governing alcoholic beverage vendors specifically for those located within the Lake Wales Arts, Culture and Entertainment District in the City of Lake Wales, Polk County. It allows licensed vendors in this district to permit patrons to remove alcoholic beverages in open containers from their premises for consumption elsewhere within the district. The bill specifies that this applies to all classes, types, or series of licenses held by the vendors, and it does not require additional licensure or approval from the Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco.

Additionally, the bill mandates that all licensed vendors within the district must still comply with local ordinances and state alcoholic beverage laws that are not inconsistent with the provisions of this act. The bill also defines the geographical boundaries of the Lake Wales Arts, Culture and Entertainment District in detail. The act is set to take effect upon becoming law.
