This bill amends section 121.055 of the Florida Statutes to expand the Senior Management Service Class within the Florida Retirement System. Effective July 1, 2026, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court will have the authority to select up to 235 additional non-judicial managerial or policymaking positions within the judicial branch for compulsory participation in this retirement class. Furthermore, the Executive Director and the General Counsel of the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission will also be required to participate in the Senior Management Service Class starting on the same date.
