House Concurrent Resolution 1635 extends the 2025 Regular Session of the Florida Legislature until 11:59 p.m. on June 18, 2025. Initially scheduled to conclude on May 2, 2025, the session was previously extended to June 6, 2025, but it has been determined that additional time is necessary to complete the required legislative tasks. The resolution is enacted under the authority of Section 3(d), Article III of the Florida State Constitution.
In this extended session, the Legislature will only consider specific measures, including various committee reports and House Joint Resolution 5019 or Senate Joint Resolution 1908. All other measures in both houses were indefinitely postponed and withdrawn from consideration as of May 3, 2025. The resolution also allows either house to reconvene at the call of its presiding officer and stipulates that the Legislature will adjourn sine die either on June 18, 2025, or upon concurrent motions to adjourn.
