This bill proposes amendments to various sections of the Florida Statutes to increase the number of judges in specific judicial circuits and counties. Additionally, the bill amends the number of county court judges in several counties, including Clay (from 2 to 3), Duval (from 17 to 19), Hernando (from 2 to 3), Marion (from 4 to 5), Miami-Dade (from 43 to 50), Nassau (from 1 to 2), Palm Beach (from 19 to 21), Sumter (from 1 to 2), and Walton (from 1 to 2).

Furthermore, the bill also increases the number of judges in the sixth district court of appeal from 9 to 11. These changes aim to enhance the judicial capacity in response to the needs of the respective circuits and counties. The act is set to take effect on July 1, 2025.
