Additionally, the bill amends existing statutes to clarify that unlicensed direct service providers can supervise the self-administration of insulin and epinephrine using specific devices. It also makes a minor adjustment to a cross-reference in the Family Empowerment Scholarship Program definition of "disability." The act is set to take effect on July 1, 2025.
