This bill establishes that the Manatee County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller will be responsible for providing operational management services, programming, and exhibits for several historic sites, including the Palmetto Historical Park, the Manatee County Agricultural Museum, the Manatee Village Historical Park, and the Florida Maritime Museum. The bill specifies that these services will be provided unless directed otherwise by the property owner.

Additionally, the Clerk and Comptroller are authorized to fund maintenance and infrastructure improvements for these museums and parks. Importantly, the funding provided must supplement existing financial resources and cannot replace or supplant any local, state, or other funding sources. The bill is set to take effect upon becoming law.
