Additionally, the bill introduces new provisions that allow for the use of wireless communications devices under certain conditions, such as with the express permission of a school administrator, or in accordance with a student's individualized education plan, 504 accommodation plan, or a doctor's note. The effective date for this act is set for July 1, 2025.
