This bill amends section 381.96 of the Florida Statutes to enhance the contract requirements for the Florida Pregnancy Care Network, Inc. Key changes include the specification that the Department of Health must conduct annual unannounced visits to each organization within the network to ensure compliance with contract terms. The bill also introduces new requirements for the contracts, such as mandating that the network must provide only current and medically accurate information to clients, ensure the availability of local rape crisis centers and sexual assault treatment centers, and perform annual financial audits of each organization within the network.

Additionally, the bill revises the language regarding contract deliverables, replacing "shall" with "must" to emphasize the obligations of the network. It also includes provisions for imposing fines for noncompliance with the requirements and mandates that at least 85 percent of contract funds be allocated to pregnancy and parenting support services. The effective date for this act is set for July 1, 2025.
