The bill amends section 288.1031 of the Florida Statutes to establish an annual fee, not to exceed $100 per registrant, to fund the Florida Manufacturing Promotional Campaign. This fee will be assessed and collected by the Department of Commerce and is intended to cover costs associated with creating and developing promotional materials, advertising programs, and industry promotion. The collected fees will be deposited into a separate account within the Economic Development Trust Fund, specifically for the administration of the campaign.

Additionally, the bill stipulates that the fees cannot be used for certain expenditures, including food, beverages, lodging, entertainment, travel expenses, or gifts for employees involved in the campaign. The act will take effect contingent upon the passage of SB 600 or similar legislation within the same legislative session.
