This bill establishes new regulations regarding the use of certain chemical additives in food products within Florida. It creates a new section, 500.454, in the Florida Statutes, which prohibits food establishments from manufacturing, selling, or distributing food that contains specific chemical additives, including brominated vegetable oil, potassium bromate, propylparaben, and various food dyes, among others.
