This bill amends the existing law regarding the St. Augustine-St. Johns County Airport Authority by officially renaming the Northeast Florida Regional Airport to the "St. Augustine Airport." The amendment updates the language in the law to reflect this new name, allowing the St. Johns County Airport Authority to conduct airport operations under the new designation.

The bill also reaffirms the status of the St. Johns County Airport Authority as an independent special district in accordance with Florida statutes. The changes will take effect immediately upon the bill becoming law.
