This bill establishes new regulations regarding the admission of undocumented individuals to Florida College System institutions and state universities. Additionally, the bill amends section 1007.263 to conform to this new prohibition and makes technical changes to the admissions rules, including a shift from "shall" to "must" in several instances to clarify requirements.

Furthermore, the bill amends section 1009.26 by deleting provisions that previously allowed for the waiver of out-of-state fees for certain students, including those who are undocumented. This change removes the eligibility criteria that permitted undocumented students who attended a Florida secondary school for three consecutive years and met other conditions to receive a waiver. The bill is set to take effect on July 1, 2025.
