This chapter is permitted to allocate up to 10 percent of the fees for administrative costs related to the promotion and marketing of the plate, while the remaining funds must be used to provide grants to charitable organizations that support veterans and their families, focusing on areas such as food, shelter, service animals, and support for children of servicemembers killed in action. The act is set to take effect on October 1, 2025.
