House Amendment - 413719
The amendment adds a new exception related to the 90-day cure period for Pigford and In re.
Black Farmer Litig. applicants for a Medical Marijuana Treatment Center license opened by the
bill.
Specifically the amendment requires the Department of Health (DOH) to consider an applicant’s
application to be cured of all deficiencies if the sole remaining deficiency with the application is
that the applicant died after March 25, 2022. In such a case, the amendment requires the DOH to
issue the license to the heirs of the applicant.
The amendment adds the above provision to the bill without altering any of the bill’s existing
effects.
