1 A bill to be entitled
2 An act relating to access to high school sports;
3 amending s. 1006.15, F.S.; deleting a specified
4 limitation relating to the participation of certain
5 private school students in a specified Florida High
6 School Athletic Association program; providing an
7 effective date.

9 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11 Section 1. Paragraph (g) of subsection (8) of section
12 1006.15, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
13 1006.15 Student standards for participation in
14 interscholastic and intrascholastic extracurricular student
15 activities; regulation.—
16 (8)
17 (g) Only students who are enrolled in non-FHSAA member
18 private schools consisting of 200 students or fewer are eligible
19 to participate in the program in any given academic year.
20 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2024.
