2 An act relating to fees; amending s. 547.004, F.S.;
3 providing application, issuance, and renewal fees for
4 licenses relating to sports wagering; providing a
5 contingent effective date.

7 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

9 Section 1. Subsections (4) and (5) are added to section
10 547.004, Florida Statutes, as created by HB 1317, 2021 Regular
11 Session, to read:
12 547.004 Sports wagering licenses.—
13 (4) The Department of Business and Professional Regulation
14 shall collect a one-time application fee of $7.5 million for a
15 license issued under this section.
16 (5) The annual fee for a license issued or renewed under
17 this section is $1 million.
18 Section 2. This act shall take effect on the same date
19 that HB 1317 or similar legislation takes effect, if such
20 legislation is adopted in the same legislative session or an
21 extension thereof and becomes a law.
