The Contract No. DCKA-2026-C-0901 with Strittmatter Metro, LLC Approval and Payment Authorization Emergency Act of 2026 is a legislative measure that seeks to approve an emergency contract with Strittmatter Metro, LLC, including two modifications, and authorize payment for the goods and services provided under this contract. The Council has determined that the contract, which has a not-to-exceed amount of $3.2 million, is necessary and has approved it notwithstanding certain procurement requirements outlined in existing law.

This act will take effect upon approval by the Mayor and will remain in effect for a maximum of 90 days, in accordance with the provisions for emergency acts as specified in the District of Columbia Home Rule Act. The Council has also adopted the fiscal impact statement from the Chief Financial Officer as part of the legislative process.
