The Personal Delivery Device Weight Limit Emergency Amendment Act of 2026 amends the Personal Delivery Device Act of 2018 to increase the weight limit for personal delivery devices (PDDs). Specifically, the bill repeals the existing weight limit provision in Section 2(8)(B) and introduces a new limit in Section 4(b). The new language stipulates that PDDs must not exceed 250 pounds in weight, excluding any property being carried, or a higher weight limit that may be established by the Department through rulemaking.
