Mayor Muriel Bowser has submitted a nomination for Ms. Damayra Moses Perez to serve as a member of the Real Estate Commission in the District of Columbia. This appointment is to fill a vacant seat previously held by Ramona Barber and will cover the remainder of an unexpired term ending December 13, 2026, as well as a subsequent term that will conclude on December 13, 2029. The nomination is in accordance with the Confirmation Act of 1978 and relevant D.C. Official Codes, and the Mayor has requested the Council's prompt consideration of this nomination.

Ms. Moses Perez is a licensed real estate salesperson with over 15 years of experience in the industry, currently leading BBL Processors LLC, which provides consulting and compliance solutions for real estate transactions in D.C. She is actively involved in the D.C. Association of Realtors and has a strong educational background, holding a Bachelor of Arts from Syracuse University and a Master of Public Administration from New York University. The proposed resolution for her confirmation will take effect immediately upon adoption by the Council.
