The Arena Safety Conformity Emergency Amendment Act of 2026 amends the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium and the District of Columbia National Guard Armory Public Safety Act to expand the prohibition on unauthorized entry onto playing surfaces to include the Downtown Arena and the Southeast Arena. The bill introduces definitions for both arenas, specifying their locations, and establishes that no person may enter the playing surfaces of these arenas without express authorization from the respective operators or their agents.

Additionally, the bill updates the definition of "playing field or playing surface" to encompass the areas within the seating facilities of the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium, the Baseball Stadium, the Soccer Stadium, the Downtown Arena, and the Southeast Arena. This amendment aims to enhance public safety at these venues by clearly delineating the areas where unauthorized access is prohibited. The act is set to take effect upon approval by the Mayor and will remain in effect for a maximum of 90 days.
