The Nationals Ballpark Amended and Restated Lease Emergency Act of 2026 authorizes the Washington Convention and Sports Authority (Events DC) to enter into a long-term lease for Nationals Ballpark. This act specifically approves the Amended and Restated Lease Agreement between Events DC and Washington Nationals Stadium, LLC, which was submitted on March 2, 2026. The act overrides certain provisions of the Procurement Practices Reform Act of 2010 and an earlier act regarding the sale of real estate in the District of Columbia, allowing for this lease agreement to proceed.

The act will take effect upon approval by the Mayor or, if vetoed, following the Council's action to override the veto. It is designed as an emergency measure and will remain in effect for no longer than 90 days, in accordance with the regulations governing emergency acts in the District of Columbia.
