The nomination is in accordance with the Confirmation Act of 1978 and the District of Columbia Housing Authority Act of 1999.

The proposed resolution confirms Ms. Silla's reappointment and emphasizes her qualifications and contributions to addressing homelessness in the District. The Council of the District of Columbia is urged to consider the nomination promptly, and upon adoption of the resolution, copies will be transmitted to both the nominee and the Mayor.
