The resolution, titled the Health Benefit Exchange Authority Executive Board Leighton Ku Confirmation Resolution of 2026, confirms the reappointment of Dr. Leighton Ku as a voting member of the District of Columbia Health Benefit Exchange Authority Executive Board. Dr. Ku, who resides in Ward 1, will serve a new term that extends until July 6, 2029. This board was established under the Health Benefit Exchange Authority Establishment Act of 2011.

Upon adoption of the resolution, a copy will be transmitted to both Dr. Ku and the Mayor of the District of Columbia. The resolution is effective immediately following its passage by the Council.
