The proposed resolution, titled the "Washington Convention and Sports Authority Board of Directors Leif Dormsjo Confirmation Resolution of 2025," aims to confirm Mr. Dormsjo's reappointment and expresses the Council's support for his nomination. Following its adoption, a copy of the resolution will be sent to both Mr. Dormsjo and the Office of the Mayor. The Office of the General Counsel has reviewed the resolution for legal sufficiency, confirming that it meets all necessary legal standards. Mr. Dormsjo's educational credentials include a Master’s degree from the Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University, further underscoring his qualifications for this role.
