The Multiyear Contract No. AGR-25-30000342 with Aramark Management Services, LP Approval and Payment Authorization Emergency Act of 2025 authorizes the Council of the District of Columbia to approve a multiyear contract for janitorial environmental cleaning and related services at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and the exterior grounds of the Carnegie Library. The contract is set at a not-to-exceed amount of $39,241,788.60 for the goods and services to be provided. This approval is made in accordance with section 451 of the Home Rule Act and overrides certain requirements of the Procurement Practices Reform Act of 2010.

The act will take effect upon approval by the Mayor or, if vetoed, upon the Council's action to override the veto. It is designed as an emergency measure and will remain in effect for no longer than 90 days, as stipulated by the District of Columbia Home Rule Act. The fiscal impact statement from the Chief Financial Officer has been adopted as part of the legislative process.
