Mr. Thomas, a resident of Ward 5 in Washington, DC, has extensive experience, including over thirty years with the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, where he conducted investigations related to child support and fraud. He has also served on the Commission on Human Rights and the Combat Sports Commission.
The proposed resolution confirms Mr. Thomas's appointment to the Historic Preservation Review Board for the remainder of an unexpired term ending July 21, 2028. The resolution will take effect immediately upon adoption by the Council of the District of Columbia, and a copy will be transmitted to both the nominee and the Office of the Mayor. The legal sufficiency of the resolution has been reviewed and found unobjectionable by the Office of the General Counsel to the Mayor.
