The bill includes a provision that the naming of the basketball court is in accordance with section 401 of the Street and Alley Closing and Acquisitions Procedures Act of 1982. Additionally, it mandates that the Secretary to the Council transmit a copy of the act to the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation once it becomes effective.
