The request complies with the Reprogramming Policy Act of 1980 and remains under the $500,000 threshold that would necessitate further Council approval.

The Chief Financial Officer, Glen Lee, has reviewed the request and confirmed that the reprogramming will not negatively impact the overall DCPS budget or the District's financial plan. Principal Danielle Singh of Janney ES has highlighted the importance of these funds for compensating staff for essential overtime work, ensuring smooth school operations. The resolution emphasizes that this reprogramming does not involve restoring previous budget cuts or creating new programs, and it seeks prompt approval to prevent any delays in staff compensation.
