This reprogramming is intended to support various professional services, supplies, contractual services, and equipment related to the District of Columbia Tuition Assistance Grant (DC TAG) program. The funds will be allocated to cover costs associated with statutorily required testing for high school students, summer bridge programs, and marketing efforts for the upcoming DC TAG application cycle.

The Chief Financial Officer, Glen Lee, has reviewed the Mayor's request and indicated that the reprogramming will not adversely impact OSSE's budget or the District's financial plan. The funds will be reallocated from existing budget authority within OSSE to meet the programmatic needs without establishing new programs or altering previously approved allocations. The timely approval of this request is crucial, as delaying the reprogramming could hinder the efficient operation of planned programs and services for students.
