To ensure the tribute is both visible and meaningful, the act includes provisions for the placement of a sign at the walkway located at 4264 13th St NW. This sign will serve as a lasting reminder of The Jewels' influence and will be a point of pride for Roosevelt High School students and the surrounding community. The bill will take effect following the Mayor's approval and a 30-day congressional review period.
