The African American Civil War Museum Limited Grant-Making Authority Temporary Amendment Act of 2025 amends the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development Limited Grant-Making Authority Act of 2012. This bill specifically authorizes the Deputy Mayor to issue a grant in Fiscal Year 2025 or 2026 to the African American Civil War Memorial Freedom Foundation, Inc. for the redevelopment of the African American Civil War Museum, located at 1925 Vermont Avenue, NW. The amendment adds a new subsection (kk) to Section 2032 of the existing law, allowing this grant despite the provisions of the Grant Administration Act of 2013.
