A graduate of Gallaudet University, Norman has made significant contributions to the Deaf LGBTQ+ community, including founding the first ASL Kickball team under Stonewall Sports and hosting the ASL Queer as F*bulous Social Night. He currently serves as President of the D.C. Association of the Deaf and is involved with various organizations, including the National Association of the Deaf and the D.C. Mayor's Office of the Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing. His advocacy work emphasizes visibility and community building within and beyond the Deaf LGBTQ+ community.
