The Uniform College Athlete Name, Image, or Likeness Temporary Amendment Act of 2025 amends the Uniform College Athlete Name, Image, or Likeness Act of 2022 to allow institutions, conferences, or athletic associations to assist college athletes in selecting and compensating name, image, or likeness agents. Additionally, it permits these entities to help college athletes in arranging or collecting payments from third parties involved in specific name, image, or likeness agreements. The bill also removes the previous prohibition against institutions or conferences providing compensation to college athletes for the use of their name, image, or likeness.

Furthermore, the bill amends section 5710 of Title 3 of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations by adding a new subsection that delays the applicability of expanded financial disclosure requirements for certain boards and commissions until January 1, 2026. The act will take effect upon approval by the Mayor and will expire 225 days after its enactment.
