The resolution confirms the appointment of Dr. Alexander McPhail as an alternate member of the Board of Directors for the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority. This appointment is made in accordance with the Water and Sewer Authority Establishment and Department of Public Works Reorganization Act of 1996, and Dr. McPhail's term will extend until September 12, 2028.

Upon adoption, the Council of the District of Columbia will transmit a copy of the resolution to both Dr. McPhail and the Mayor. The resolution is effective immediately following its adoption.
